1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Daily Focus: 1 Minute Together (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application. Daily Focus is a meditation and mindfulness tool that generates procedural art based on your device interaction during focus sessions.
ClawLabs App acts as the data controller for the data processed through the App. We are committed to handling your information transparently and with minimal data collection. Please read this policy to understand our practices.
A. Pseudonymous Device Identifiers
To provide core functionality, we collect:
- Pseudonymous unique identifier (UUID) generated by Supabase Anonymous Auth — used to sync your session history and progress across app launches.
- Google Advertising ID (AAID) — used to serve relevant ads through Google AdMob and to measure ad attribution.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information in the baseline version of the App.
B. Sensor and Interaction Data
Generating silence pattern artwork requires access to your device’s sensors during an active focus session:
- Accelerometer and gyroscope readings, and screen touch coordinates are captured only while the session timer is running.
- Raw sensor data is processed entirely on-device. Abstract numerical parameters derived from this data (such as motion intensity and rhythm values) are computed locally and used to generate the visual result.
- Raw sensor logs are never stored on the device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
- Only the derived abstract parameters are sent to our database to persist your visual reward. These values cannot be used to reconstruct original sensor readings or identify you.
C. Offline Storage
If your device is offline during a session, session data is temporarily stored on-device and automatically synced to our servers once internet connectivity is restored.
D. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not directly collect or store your IP address. However, third-party services integrated into the App (including Supabase, Firebase, and Sentry) may process your IP address as part of standard network communication, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- We do not use cookies.
- We do not access or store your GPS or network-based location.
The information we collect is used solely to operate and improve the App:
- Session sync and progress tracking — via pseudonymous UUID stored in Supabase.
- Visual reward generation — derived motion parameters produce your unique silence pattern.
- Advertising — AAID is used to display relevant ads via Google AdMob and to measure advertising effectiveness.
- Crash reporting and diagnostics — technical error logs are sent to Sentry to help us identify and fix issues.
- Aggregate analytics — Firebase Analytics collects anonymised usage statistics (e.g. session length distribution, feature usage) to help us improve the App.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party providers. Each processes data according to its own privacy policy:

Note: Sentry may process your IP address and device information (model, OS version) as part of crash diagnostics.
5. Advertising and Consent
The App uses a reward-based access model: after completing a focus session, you may watch an ad to save your generated artwork. The core session timer and audio features are available without viewing ads.
The Google Advertising ID (AAID) is used to display personalised ads via Google AdMob and to attribute ad views. Additionally, the App integrates with the Android Privacy Sandbox (Topics API), which may be used to infer general interest categories for ad relevance purposes.
Where required by applicable law (e.g. GDPR), your consent will be requested before personalised advertising is enabled. You may be shown a consent prompt upon first launch. You can review and change your advertising preferences at any time in your Android system settings.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the applicable age of digital consent in your country (which may be higher — up to 16 in some EU/EEA member states). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data through the App, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Data Retention and Security
- Retention: We store your pseudonymous UUID and session data for as long as your pseudonymous account is active, in order to provide continuity of your progress.
- Security: All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS. Although we do not collect sensitive personal data, we apply industry-standard security measures to all data we process.
8. International Data Transfers
Data may be processed on servers located outside your country, including the United States, depending on the infrastructure of our third-party service providers. Where required by law, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data during such transfers.
9. Your Rights
- Data deletion: You have the right to delete your data at any time. You can do this independently by using the Delete account feature in the application Settings. This action will permanently delete your account data and generate a new anonymous identifier. Additionally, you may request manual deletion of any remaining pseudonymous records by contacting us at support.dailyfocus@gmail.com. We will process such requests within 14 days.
- Advertising opt-out: You can reset or limit the use of your Advertising ID through Android System Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Access and portability: Where required by applicable law, you may request a copy of the data we hold associated with your pseudonymous account.
- Legal basis (GDPR): Where applicable, data processing is based on your consent (advertising ID, Topics API) and our legitimate interest (pseudonymous session sync and crash diagnostics). You may withdraw consent at any time through your device settings.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice or by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
